English version
It
begins with a good friend who invited me to a camp, knowing I'll never say NO
to having fun and knowing more friends. I hesitated at the beginning learning I
would need to face HUNGER, I thought it would be in means of mental and
physical torture. However, throughout
the 30 hours I was educated through sharing and games on the objectives and
motives of 30-Hour Famine.
Then
only I know how neglected I was on basic necessities and creating wastage of
resources GOD had given us, while others
from different side of the globe still struggling over basic survival
needs. Then only I know every 30-Hour Famine I spent yearly is joint effort
meant to give hope to others who are really suffering. From that year onwards,
I never missed in participating in 30-Hour Famine DIY-Camp as a reminder to
myself to be thankful and appreciate the world resources while lending a
helping hand to friends from other side of the globe whenever we could. Thanks
to my friend I’m here, I’m thankful to your friends for you are here too;
together we can make a difference!!
Welcome
to 30-Hour Famine DIY-Camp J
