English version
I
started to get involved in 30-Hour Famine by first being a Child Sponsor for 2
years. My sponsored child is from Thailand. Then in year 2012, at the last
minute, I registered myself in the only 30-Hour Famine DIY-Camp in Kota
Kinabalu which was also the 2nd year of 30-Hour Famine DIY-Camp in Kota
Kinabalu.
In
2013, when I received the e-mail from World Vision, it took me some time to
consider and finally I decided to organize new DIY-Camp in Penang, my wonderful
hometown. With the experience and exposure I gained from the DIY-Camp that I had
participated previously and help from my friends, I have managed to register
myself to be a Camp Leader. With a great team in 2013, we managed to organize a
22+8-Hour Famine Camp in Penang. Our
team gained a lot of experience from the process and now in year 2014, we
together again would like to bring the spirit of 30-Hour Famine to more people
in Penang.
